100+ Calls for Artists

Hey artists, get your work out there! Here are some places to show off your talents in 2013!

I compiled this list for the monthly ValleyArts Artists' Salon in the Valley Arts District in northern NJ, but most of the shows are open calls for artists throughout the US and beyond. If you are interested in finding out more about ValleyArts, please visit www.valleyartsNJ.com.

I tried to pull a broad assortment of Calls for Artists, take a little time to read through the list and see if anything touches your fancy! And if you know of any calls for artists that you don't see here- please post a comment, or email me at gayle@gaylemahoney.com and I will add to the list.

Also, please let me know if any of the links don't work. I will also share a pdf of this list on request. PLEASE follow me here- also on twitter, @witheroney. And share with all your artist friends!

Two little tidbits for applying to juried shows:
1. Take yourself seriously enough as an artist to get professional photographs of your work. It will pay for itself in a very short time. If you don't take yourself seriously enough as an artist to send professional photographs, trust me- no juror or gallery director will take you seriously, either.
2. My friend Thea Clark would offer this advice: If you are hung up about whether or not your work gets into a particular show, you are not entering enough shows. Enter a whole bunch, then you will be pleasantly surprised when your work gets in. Visit Thea's blog: http://theaclark.blogspot.com/

OK here's the list:

  1. This is how my associate Wesley Virgin's adventure launches in this SHOCKING and controversial VIDEO.

Wesley was in the army-and shortly after leaving-he found hidden, "mind control" secrets that the government and others used to get everything they want.

THESE are the exact same SECRETS lots of famous people (especially those who "became famous out of nowhere") and top business people used to become rich and famous.

You probably know that you use only 10% of your brain.

That's really because the majority of your brainpower is UNCONSCIOUS.

Perhaps this conversation has even taken place IN YOUR very own head... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's head around seven years back, while riding an unregistered, garbage bucket of a car without a driver's license and with $3 in his bank account.

"I'm so fed up with living check to check! When will I become successful?"

You've taken part in those types of thoughts, right?

Your success story is going to happen. You just need to take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.

    UNLOCK YOUR SECRET BRAINPOWER
